Recently, I was able to do a few very casual portrait sessions in my home. This is a dream come true for me; I got to take my time, get things just so, and had a few laughs. Thanks to some amazing inspiration from contemporary portrait photographer, Sue Bryce, and boudoir photographer, Christa Meola I was able to pull off a very different look and feel for these portraits. I have discovered a new arsenal of posing techniques, and a new way to empower the person being photographed. It was quite different than my outdoor family groupings, but just as much fun. Thank you to my good-natured models for such a great day, despite the gloomy weather!

I was fortunate to get to have a recent portrait session with Pumpernickel's fantastic Teresa. She never fails to exceed my expectations (and that's really saying something). She is patient, puts me at ease, and can always suggest great locations to suit our style. My husband and I always seek her out when we want updated pictures of our family. She is simply the best!
